The Duchess of Cambridge sent a good luck message to the British team preparing for the “challenge of a lifetime” in the America’s Cup. Sir Charles Benedict Ainslie, CBE is an English competitive sailor. Ainslie is the most successful sailor in Olympic history. He won medals at five consecutive Olympics from 1996 onwards, including gold at the four consecutive Games held between 2000 and 2012.

The Duchess of Sussex, made an unscheduled appearance on CNN’s annual Heroes TV special Sunday to honor the year’s most inspiring moments and the people who made them happen. Referring to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Duchess thanked all the “individuals who stood up and made sure the most basic needs of our communities were met”, mentioning that the past year has been “universally challenging for everyone."
