Queen Maxima took part in the online launch of Raast

On Monday 11 January, 2021, Dutch Queen Maxima delivered an online speech at the online launch of the Micro Payment Gateway “Raast” in Pakistan. Raast is an initiative of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and non-profit organization Karandaaz, which aims to reduce the costs of small payments and stimulate digital payments. It mainly targets poor people. Queen Máxima took part in the online event in her capacity as Special Advocate to the Secretary General of the United Nations for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA).
