Countess of Wessex visited the Shooting Star Children's Hospices Hampton shop
On December 9, 2020, The Countess of Wessex joined staff and volunteers at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices’ Hampton Hill charity shop, to help them prepare for Christmas after the shop’s reopening last week. The Countess of Wessex is patron of the charity which cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.
The Duchess of Cornwall visited Battersea Old Windsor Centre
On December 09, 2020, The Duchess of Cornwall visited Battersea Dogs Home in Windsor. The Duchess is patron of the charity Battersea. The Duchess opened the new facilities at the Battersea Old Windsor Centre. During lockdown, Battersea remained open for emergency cases and set up an advice line for owners who were struggling with pets at home.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex visited Moorcroft Community Centre in Woking
On December 8, 2020, The Earl and Countess of Wessex visited Foodwise to help prepare hot meals for the local community at Moorcroft Community Centre in Woking, England. Moorcroft Community Centre is operated by Woking Borough Council. The centre offers a range of activities and services, including lunchtime meals and wellbeing services.
